sn2.30:1.2 At one time the Buddha was staying near Rājagaha in the Bamboo Grove, the squirrels’ feeding ground.
sn2.30:1.3 Then, late at night, several glorious godlings lit up the entire Bamboo Grove. They were Asama, Sahalī, Niṅka, Ākoṭaka, Veṭambarī, and Māṇavagāmiya, and all of them were disciples of various monastics of other religions. They went up to the Buddha, bowed, and stood to one side.
