mn94:2.1 Now at that time the brahmin Ghoṭamukha had arrived at Varanasi on some business.

mn94:2.2 Then as he was going for a walk he went to the Khemiya Mango Grove.
mn94:2.3 At that time Venerable Udena was walking mindfully in the open air.
mn94:2.4 Ghoṭamukha approached and exchanged greetings with him.
mn94:2.5 Walking alongside Udena, he said,
mn94:2.6 “My ascetic, there is no such thing as a principled renunciate life;
mn94:2.7 that’s what I think.
mn94:2.8 Yet I have not seen honorable ones such as yourself, or a relevant teaching.”
