mn64:2.2 When he said this, Venerable Māluṅkyaputta said to him,
mn64:2.3 “Sir, I remember them.”
mn64:2.4 “But how do you remember them?”
mn64:2.5 “I remember the lower fetters taught by the Buddha as follows: substantialist view,
mn64:2.6 doubt,
mn64:2.7 misapprehension of precepts and observances,
mn64:2.8 sensual desire,
mn64:2.9 and ill will.
mn64:2.10 That’s how I remember the five lower fetters taught by the Buddha.”
