“Yopānudī maccurājassa senaṁ,

He has cast aside the army of the King of Death,

Naḷasetuṁva sudubbalaṁ mahogho;
bagaikan jembatan alang-alang yang sangat rapuh diterjang banjir besar;
as a fragile bridge of reeds by a great flood.

Vijitāvī apetabheravo hi,
sungguh menang, karena ketakutannya telah lenyap:
Victorious since his fears have vanished:

Danto so parinibbuto ṭhitatto”ti.
terlatih dan mantap, ia telah padam sempurna.
tame and steadfast, he has become quenched.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā bhalliyo thero gāthaṁ abhāsitthāti.
