Brahmana Bhāradvāja sang Pemuja Api melihat Sang Bhagavā datang dari kejauhan.

“Berhentilah di sana, hai orang gundul!
“Stop right there, shaveling!

tatreva, samaṇaka;
Di sanalah, pertapa palsu!
Right there, fake ascetic!

tatreva, vasalaka, tiṭṭhāhī”ti.
Di sanalah, orang hina, berdirilah!”
Right there, lowlife!”
