Te tattha amhe passitvā,
Melihat kami di sana,
Seeing us there,
karuṇaṁ giramudīrayuṁ;
mereka berkata kepada kami dengan ramah,
they spoke to us kindly,
Dukkhante paṭivedenti,
‘Akan sulit bagimu,’ jelas mereka,
‘It will be hard for you,’ they explained,
dūre vaṅkantapabbato.
‘karena Gunung Bengkok itu jauh.’
‘for Crooked Mountain is far.’
